I've plateaued - Not that I've really been actively trying to lose weight mind you!

I think it's time to start exercising, as well as diet modification. I've cut out one of my coffee's a day (financial mostly!) - but it all helps.

Rach and I had a great day yesterday - in the morning, we set up the blow up pool, and put the sun shelter over that - then brought the telly out. Pictures will follow shortly. Then we cruised down to the beach, and took Jude out in the water.. He loved it - and rolled around in the sand too! He got a little bit cold by the time we took him out (he had little shivers! :P)

As soon as we decided to leave the beach, we walked over the road - and it was stinking hot again. bugger. Now we just need to move to a place right on the beach.. that would be excellent, if not a little expensive!

I managed to sleep in this morning, mostly due to the late finish of the tennis (I went to be at 11:30), and the storms during the night woke me up around 3am. Right in the middle of my night's sleep. Excellent.

Talk about fucked up...

This is a disgrace.

I'm just blown away by it. I mean, seriously - are we raising a generation of sociopaths? Do these parents just have no idea how to raise a child?

Woo Hoo! :) another little man to love and play with! :) I think Rach is very relieved, I would have loved a little girl, but that's ok! As long as they are healthy, then all is good. We are definately having only 2, I dont think I could cope with a third!

We are going to call him Reuben (yes, after our friend Dj Ruby!) - But I'm not too sure about the second name - We need to find something that goes well with Reuben - We had been thinking James, but I'll have a think about it and see.

From the scans this morning, everything seemed to be there, and he seems to be a big boy! :P

I'm very excited!

Cruising...

So, the cruise is only about 6 weeks away now - very funky! :)

We just have to get the little guy a passport, although we are still not too sure if he's going to come or not - I think now that we are having another one soon, Rach and I are going to take the opportunity to actually have a holiday - rather than looking after the little guy the whole trip. In the fine print terms and conditions, any child between 12 months and 2 years old is looked after by the parents the whole time. No babysitting. bugger.

Anyway, in about a week, small should have his passport. :)

Bugger. I had a bad eating weekend! :P

But other than that, I had a good weekend! :)

Saturday was a 1st birthday party for a friend's daughter - Jude cruised about and generally caused havoc - pushing other kids over and stealing their toys. Gotta love it.

Sunday was dinner with Ruby and Paula - and we went bowling too. I haven't bowled for probably about 12 months now - certainly it was before Jude was born. I ended up with a couple of 150 games. pretty good for a rusty old bastard with a crook back! :P

Little Jude fell asleep on Rach after dinner, and then when we got him into the car, he just wouldnt stop crying. Poor little lamb. I think he was missing his blankie, which he now pulls out of his cot whenever he can. So cute! :P

Anyway, I didnt do any exercise all weekend, but Rach was very good - going for her walks. I just couldnt be arsed.

a Weighty issue...

has arisen - i'm just plain old fat - So I'm going to make an effort to lose some weight.

I will weigh in every day (even if i dont make a full update!).

Hopefully by March, I'll have lost about 8-10 kilos! That's the goal.

Why cant I sleep?!

We visited Rubes and Paula last night - and had a big one! :) Watched 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' - Great film! :)

I spent a couple of hours spinning discs - Started out good, and faded fast! :) ahahhahaa.. I think I need to get a new back - I ended up having to sit down to spin the discs! :P I would love to start collecting some vinyl too - of songs that I really dig - and then playing them would be awesome! :)

It was nice for Rach and I to have the night off looking after little Jude - even though he's such a good boy! :)

Maybe I shouldnt have had that coffee after dinner! :P

Oh yeah - and Ruby gifted me about 300 cd's too! : ) unbelieveable....
